Architecture in images, form and motion.
Motion
In motion.
Films about architecture, and sometimes beyond it: camera paths, sequences and fully edited films with sound, for competitions and presentations. Click any of them to watch the whole film.
Design
Architects first.
We are both architects. Our own work ranges from houses and pavilions to studies of form and material. In competitions we join the team from the first sketch to the final board, so the images grow with the design, not after it.
Archive
The full archive.
Every project and every image: 156 images from 54 projects, from competition entries to built work.
Studio
What we offer.
Competitions
We join competition teams as designers, not only as visualisers. We help develop the concept, test massing and materials, choose the key views and lay out the boards, right up to the deadline.
Images
Exteriors, interiors and aerial views of buildings that do not exist yet. We work like photographers: light, weather, season and the people in the frame are chosen to tell what the project is about.
Animation
Short films for competitions, presentations and sales: camera paths, sequences and edited films with sound. One of us comes from film, and it shows in the pacing and framing.
For developers
Images and films that sell: from visuals for the project website and hoardings, through show-flat interiors, to a launch film. A consistent series that keeps the character of the design, delivered to the timeline of the campaign.
Who we are.
plankton.group is a studio of two architects, based in Warsaw and Łódź. We make images and films of architecture and work alongside design teams, mostly on competitions, and with developers bringing projects to market, for clients across Europe, the United States and Asia.
Stanisław Ignaciuk Łódź
Architect, designer and photographer. A curious geek with a sharp eye for composition, a strong sense of aesthetics and a knack for solving problems. Usually found climbing when he's not working.
Michał Lenczewski Warsaw
Architect with a background in film. He designs, makes his own films and is involved in his local community. Slightly obsessed with bikes and generally happy on anything with two wheels and handlebars.
